I was bracing for a trail of litter across the bathroom, but this mat actually catches it all before it hits the floor. The rinse-and-air-dry cleanup is super easy, and the non-slip backing hasn't budged once since I put it down.
The non-slip backing is the real winner here—it stays put on our hardwood even with a hyperactive kitten launching off it. Rinsing it in the sink took two minutes and it air-dried overnight, so cleanup is genuinely painless.
